As the large consumer platforms exit, the cheap end of the market is increasingly served by companies most patients have never heard of.
Through the first half of 2026 the largest consumer telehealth names have moved to brand-only models or left compounded GLP-1 entirely. What remains at the cheap end is a field of smaller operators with little brand recognition and highly variable disclosure.
That changes what due diligence is worth. When the cheap option was a company with a Super Bowl ad, brand recognition did some of the work. It does not now.
Our disclosure scoring exists for this situation: fewer than a fifth of priced programs will name the pharmacy that compounds your medication, and that single fact is the one that lets you check a state board register yourself.
The corollary is that price alone is a worse guide than it was a year ago. Two programs can differ by $50 a month and by everything in how they handle a failed shipment.
