Two different problems, one outcome: an unverified substance in a syringe.
Regulators and manufacturers have continued issuing alerts about falsified branded product entering supply chains outside licensed pharmacies, and about unregulated peptide sold online with research-use disclaimers.
The two are distinct. Counterfeit product imitates an approved medicine and reaches patients through unlicensed sellers and social marketplaces. Research-labelled peptide is sold openly as not for human consumption, and the disclaimer exists so the seller can say you were told.
Neither is detectable by inspection. That is the whole argument for the licensed channel: a prescription, a named pharmacy, a prescriber and a traceable supply chain are what make accountability possible when something is wrong.
Deep discounts outside the licensed market are the recurring signal. If a price is far below the legitimate floor and the seller does not require a prescription, those two facts are the same fact.
